Cameron Promises Irrelevant – Nuttall

Whether David Cameron is forced into promising a referendum on our EU membership before the 2014 Euro elections or not is largely irrelevant.

A week in politics may be a long time,  but not in the memory of the electorate, who are not as stupid as our PM appears to believe. We all remember his worthless 2007 ‘cast iron’ pledge to hold a referendum on any EU treaty.

Would anyone – including the majority of his own Party – really believe another such referendum promise from him?
